I would like to know how much money you have saved the first year, and I would also like to know the projected totals in savings from using the Riverside County Sheriffs Department. I would also like to see the start up cost and how much the City of Menifee see's in savings and reduction of crime for the years 2020 thru 2025. Please send this information via email, if possible I need it by 5 p.m. today. Thank you, Warm regards, Paulie Tehrani Candice Alvarez From: Linda Cooley < Sent: Monday, March 22, 2021 3:47 PM To: Candice Alvarez Subject: [External]Haul Route Approval Message from external sender. Use Caution. Honorable Mayor and City Council, I live four houses from the intersection of Elsinore Hills Road and Crimson Pillar Lane. Rosetta Canyon Drive is the first main turn off from the freeway traveling on Central and it is heavily traveled by school traffic. The sidewalks have people taking their dogs to the dog park. Last year over 900 children attended Earl Warren Elementary_ I know they will remove the excess dirt when school is not in session but my concern is traffic congestion once the homes are built. Additional traffic would be a disaster, especially if they turn on Elsinore Hills Road. I hope signs will be installed on Central Avenue leading delivery trucks, etc.to other entrances including additional speed limit signs on Rosetta Canyon Drive. Thanking You, Linda Cooley 1 From:-David-P-lancar--te— Sent: Monday, March 22, 202111:47 AM Subject: RE: [External]URGENT-Haul Route Approval- Rosetta Canyon Hi Carlos, I've looked at the haul route. I'd like this written comment/observation/request to be passed along to the project manager(whoever that is) as directed in the NOTICE I received, as I won't be able to attend the meeting in person. I think the haul route should be changed for safety purposes to the south access point ONLY. I live next to the north side access point and have lived there for years, and can tell you that neighborhood kids are always out playing on Starina Street on the portion from the north access point to the first right turn (of haul route). I witness this every day, and it can be from a handful to upwards of 10-20 kids. Please also note that neighborhood KIDS in that same area do not only ride bikes and skate boards but on occasion drive golf carts or motorized go karts (low profile hard to see from a regular car). I saw that about 170 trucks are anticipated per day, and I would hate for a driver to get complacent and/or a kid to not pay attention and something awful happen. My request would thus be to not permit delivery from the north access point and use only the south access point, which does not have rows of residential homes directly along the initial portion of its route. I do not know if kids congregate near the south access point or not. Whatever trucks are hauling from the north area can be driven from the north area to the south area for access at the south point, as I have seen large equipment move freely to and from the north and side over the last few months.
