CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS All matters on the Consent Calendar are approved in one motion, unless a Commissioner or any members of the public requests separate action on a specific action. 1. Minutes a. Regular Planning Commission Minutes of April 5, 2005; 2. Minor Design Review of a Single Family Residence located at 408 Franklin Street • A Minor Design Review consideration for one (1) single-family residence pursuant to PAGE 2 – PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA – April 19, 2005 CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS CONTINUED • Chapter 17.82 (Design Review), Chapter 17.66 (Parking Requirements) and Chapter 17.14 (Residential Development Standards) of the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code (LEMC) and the Historic Elsinore Architectural Design Standards. CASE PLANNER: Linda Miller, Associate Planner Ext. 209, lmiller@lake-elsinore.org RECOMMENDATION: Approval PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS 3. Sign Program No. 2005-01 and Variance No. 2005-02 • Although staff has endured to bring this application forward, there was not enough time to adequately analyze the various impacts related to a proposal of this type. Therefore, with the consent of the applicant, staff is requesting that this item be continued to the May 3, 2005 Planning Commission Meeting. CASE PLANNER: Kirt Coury, Associate Planner Ext. 274, kcoury@lake-elsinore.org RECOMMENDATION: Continuance to May 3, 2005 Planning Commission Meeting 4. Creation of a New M-3 Zoning District • Request that the Planning Commission recommend that the City Council Adopt a new Chapter in the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code entitled “M-3 Mineral Resources and Related Manufacturing” District CASE PLANNER: Rolfe Preisendanz, Planning Manager Ext. 223, rpreisendanz@lake-elsinore.org RECOMMENDATION: Approval PAGE 3 – PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA – April 19, 2005 BUSINESS ITEMS 5. Residential Design Review No. 2005-03 located within Vesting Tract Map No. 28214-2 (Alberhill Ranch) • Residential Design Review No. 2005-03 proposes building designs for 104 single-family detached residential units, including a four-plan model home complex. The proposed residences will be constructed within the Alberhill Ranch Specific Plan area, previously subdivided by Vesting Tract Map No. 28214-2. Residential Design Review No. 2004-25, Design Review for “Bridgegate” located within the Canyon Hills Specific Plan • Residential Design Review No. 2004-25 (Bridgegate) proposes building designs for 147 single- family detached residential units within an area that was subdivided by Tract Map No. 31706. CASE PLANNER: Kirt Coury, Associate Planner Ext. 274, kcoury@lake-elsinore.org RECOMMENDATION: Approval INFORMATIONAL 1. Summary of League of California Cities Planners Institute Conference in Pasadena, April 13th – 15th attended by Commissioner’s Gonzales and Larimer.
