CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS All matters on the Consent Calendar are approved in one motion, unless a Commissioner or any members of the public requests separate action on a specific action. 1. Minutes May 18, 2004 Planning Commission Minutes RECOMMENDATION: Approval PUBLIC HEARINGS None PAGE 2 – PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA – June 1, 2004 BUSINESS ITEMS 2. Minor Design Review of two Single-Family Residences located at 16770 & 16800 Gunnerson Avenue. • The Planning Commission originally heard this project on May 04, 2004. The Planning Commission voted to continue the project to June 1, 2004. Comments were made at that meeting that the design of the homes needed more work. Specifically some of the Commissioners were concerned about the large blank wall on the homes at 16770 Gunnerson Avenue. Staff has worked with the applicant to add additional architectural elements to the homes. The review is pursuant to Chapter 17.82 (Design Review), Chapter 17.23, R-1 (Single Family Residential District) and Chapter 17.14, Residential Development Standards of the LEMC. Minor Design Review of a Single-Family Residence located at 32285 Machado Avenue. • This project is located at 32285 Machado Avenue, on the northeast corner of Machado Avenue and Larson Street, in the R-1 Single-Family Residential District. The applicant is proposing to develop a new single-story 2,046 square foot single-family residence and 734 square foot attached three-car garage for total building footprint coverage of 2,780 square feet. . The review is pursuant to Chapter 17.82 (Design Review), Chapter 17.23, R-1 (Single Family Residential District) and Chapter 17.14, Residential Development Standards of the LEMC.
