The subject retaining wall backfill has been tested for compliance with
applicable City specifications. The work was authorized by Mr. Jarrell
Strickland and included: (1) testing the compacted backfill , and (2) preparing
this report presenting the findings and conclusions.

The retaining walls were installed in May 1988 by J.F. Stricklaio Mde Co asrnot3been
Corporation (Riverside). The lower wail, shown for . e proximately 8 feet
constructed yet. The maximum height of the walls are app
within the building design. The bottom 4 feet of each wall was ibackfilled with
crushed rock and then backfilled with material Gbtained from cut portions of the
pad. Compaction was attained by using a Bobcat dozer and a hand whacker.

Compaction Testin
All tests were performed in accordance with AS?M D1556-82 ;Sand Cone Test
Method) and ASTM D2937-83 (Drive Cy►inder Test Method) with the maximum density
determined in accordance with ASTM D1557-78. The test locations are shorn on
Plate 1 and the results are summarized below:
