The bottom 4 feet of each wall was ibackfilled with crushed rock and then backfilled with material Gbtained from cut portions of the pad. Compaction was attained by using a Bobcat dozer and a hand whacker. r Compaction Testin All tests were performed in accordance with AS?M D1556-82 ;Sand Cone Test Method) and ASTM D2937-83 (Drive Cy►inder Test Method) with the maximum density determined in accordance with ASTM D1557-78.
