RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA REQUESTING THE TAX
COLLECTOR OF THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE TO PLACE
SPECIAL TAXES ON THE BILLS OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES
FOR CFD 2006-8
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore, California (the
"City") has heretofare instituted and conducted proceedings under the terms and
provisions of the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982 (the "Act"), being
Chapter 25 of the State of California Government Code for the acquisition and
appurtenant wark in a special t~ district designated as COMMi.JNITY FACILITIES
DISTRICT NO. 2006-8 (RLINNING DEER ESTATES) (hereinafter referred to as the
CFD 2006-8); and
WHEREAS, in City Resolurion No. 2006-168 enritled "Resolufion of Intention"
adopted October 10, 2006; City Resolution No. 2006-195 entitled "A Resolution of
Formation of the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore Deternuning the Validity of
Prior Proceedings, Establishing City of Lake Elsinore Community Facilities District
No. 2006-8 (Ri.JNNING DEER ESTATES)", adopted November 28, 2006, and City
Ordinance No. 1203, entitled "An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Lake
Elsinare Authorizing the Levy of a Special T~", adopted November 28, 2006; and
WHEREAS, all special taxes in this district were levied without regard to
properiy valuation.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE
ELSINORE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the portion of the principal, interest and other costs related
to CFD 2006-8 due or coming due through June 30, 2008 be placed on the County Tax
Rolls and be collected by the Riverside County Tax Collector, as provided for in
Exhibit "A" (a summary of fixed charges).
SECTION 2. That the properties to be so assessed and the related amounts are
submitted on CD as requested by the Riverside County Taac Collector, further
identified as County Fund No. 68-8732.

SECTION 3. This Resolution sha11 take effect from and after the date of its
passage and adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of June, 2007 by the
following vote:
