GENERAL NOTES:
1. The contractor shall be responsible for the clearing of proposed work area; and the relocation and cost of all
existing utilities. Subdivider must notify the City of Lake Elsinore at least 48 hours prior to beginning of
construction, Phone: 674 -1441
2. All work shall conform to the requirements of the Riverside County Road Department Specifications for the im-
provement of subdivision streets dated 1982, -t-.%ndorcl 5peci-ic--i1'ion5 -For &or- late,5r
e-d it'ion .
3. All underground facilities with laterals shall be in place prior to paving the street section including but
not limited to the following; sewer, water, gas, electric and drainage.
4. Curb depression and driveway approaches will be installed and constructed according to Riverside County Stan
dard No. 207 as directed in the field.
5. All street sections are tentative. Additional soil tests shall be taken after rough grading to determine ex
act street section requirements.
6. Asphaltic emulsion (fog seal) shall be applied not less than (14) fourteen days following placement of the
asphalt surfacing and shall be applied at a rate of 0.05 gallons per square yard. Asphaltic emulsion shall
conform to Sections 37, 39, and 94 of the state standard specifications.
7. It shall be the responsibility of the subdivider or contractor to apply to the City of Lake Elsinore, permit
section, for an encroachment permit, for offsite construction.
8. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to contact and make necessary arrangements with the appro-
priate utility companies prior to the beginning of construction.
9. Locations of substructures as shown on plans are shown from the best available inforniatiori, however, such to
cations as shown or failure to show existing substructures shall not relieve the contractors from the respon
sibility of verifying the location of and protecting all substructures encountered.
