Therefore, the Bond must remain in place for the life of the project. I needed to confirm with Sharyl at the Ward Agency that the Bond did not expire, and she has assured me that it will not, and that MetroPCS will be billed annually by her company for its renewal. AI was not able to get a final sign-off from the City because the Cost Recover System account that was established for this project has been depleted and overdrawn. The Finance Dept has sent invoices for the past three months to Royal, and no payments have been received to date. The total amount due is $984.50. The CRS is not a performance bond or fee. I mentioned to Al that one of the reasons why the project was overdrawn was because it took a lot of staff hours getting the Faithful Performance Bond requirement completed. The CRS is a deposit made by an applicant to process their land use submittal and complete the construction project. From time to time a CRS account does need replenishment in order to complete a project. I hope I've resolved the confusion.We are all anxious to sign-off your project,just as soon as your CRS account is cleared, allowing us to close the account and the casefile.
