CALL TO ORDER
The Regular Meeting of the planning Commission was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

CONSENT CALENDAR
1)Approval of Minutes
Approve Minutes of the Regular Planning Commission Meeting of September 20, 2022.
A motion was made by Commissioner Peters, seconded by Commissioner Gray, that this
Planning Consent Calendar be Approved. The Motion carried by the following vote:
Aye:Chair Dobler, Vice Chair Carroll, Commissioner Gray, Commissioner Klaarenbeek and
Commissioner Peters

PUBLIC HEARING(S)
2)Planning Application No. 2021-34 (Evergreen Commercial Development Project)
requesting to develop a new 57,254 sq. ft. commercial center on an 8.863-acre site
located at the southeast corner of Central Avenue and Cambern Avenue
Open the Public Hearing, receive testimony, if any, and continue the item to November 15,
2022.
The Public Hearing opened at 6:02 p.m.
There were no comments made by the public.

Staff made the recommendation to continue the Item to the Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission
on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
A motion was made by Commissioner Klaarenbeek, seconded by Vice Chair Carroll, that this
Item be Continued to the November 15, 2022 meeting. The Motion carried by the following vote:
Aye:Chair Dobler, Vice Chair Carroll, Commissioner Gray, Commissioner Klaarenbeek and
Commissioner Peters

BUSINESS ITEM(S)
3)General Plan Conformity Determination for Proposed Street Vacation of a Portion of
Nichols Road
Adopt A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAKE
ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT THE SUMMARY VACATION OF A PORTION OF
NICHOLS ROAD CONFORMS TO THE CITY’S GENERAL PLAN.
Damaris Abraham, Interim Assistant Community Development Director, provided a presentation.
The Commissioners did not have any comments or questions.
A motion was made by Commissioner Gray, seconded by Commissioner Peters, that the
Resolution be Adopted. The motion carried by the following vote
Aye:Chair Dobler, Vice Chair Carroll, Commissioner Gray, Commissioner Klaarenbeek and
Commissioner Peters

COMMISSIONERS' COMMENTS
None.
STAFF COMMENTS
Staff commented that while the projects coming to the planning commission have slowed down there are
several Residential and Commercial projects that are currently being processed by staff that would
necessitate public hearings in the near future.
ADJOURNMENT
The Lake Elsinore Planning Commission adjourned at 6:07 p.m. to the next Regular meeting of
Tuesday, November 1, 2022 in the Cultural Center located at 183 N. Main Street commencing at 6:00
p.m.
