This list contains only those items visibie at the time of the inspection. Additional violations may be discovered when portions of the building are opened up for repairs and/or further inspections. 1) Provide three (3) complete sets of plot plans to show location of structure on property. Give all dimensions from structure to property lines and which direction the house faces. 2) A concrete tooting supports the perimeter of the main house. This concrete footing appears to be structuraily sound. 3) The interior foundation of the house consists of 4"x4" posts on concrete pads sUpporting 4"x 4' girders. The joists are full dimension 2"x 4"s at 24" on center spacing. There is no positive connection from the posts to the girders or from the posts to the concrete pads. 4) Submit three (3) complete sets of plans to show existing foundation. Indicate how foundation will be modified to meet current Code. (1997 Uniform Building Coat) 5) There is a wood framed cripple wali above the footing that supports the floor framing of the main house. This cripple wall varies in height. The cripple wall will have to be shear paneled or solid blocked depending on the height. Anchor bolts wWll have to be installed per Building Code requirements. Show the direction and spacing of the floor joists. Indicate how floor framing and connection to foundation will be modified to meet current Code. (1997 Unifom Building Code) 8) There is a room addition at the rear of the house that does not appear to meet minimum Code (1997 Uniform Building Code). 9) The City's records show that an 18' x 30' patio cover was constructed on this property in 1970, however the records do not indicate the location on property. (see enclosed copy of permit) 10) There is a storage room at the west side of the house that does not meet Code (1997 Uniform Building Code) and must be removed. 11) There is a room addition near the front of the house on the west side. This room appears to be used as a laundry room. Plans must be } submitted for this room addition and permits obtained, or the room addition must be removed. 12) The windows from the bedrooms are too small to provide emergency egress. Must install larger windows to meet minimum Code (1997 Uniform Building Code). 13) Submit three (3) complete sets of floor plans to show dimension and use of each room. Indicate size and location of windows and doors. Show location of electrical cutlets and switches. 14) All missing or broken windows must be repaired or replaced and screens installed. 15) All electrical wiring must be repaired or replaced to meet current Electrical Code requirements. (1996 National Electric Code) 16) Portions of the drain, waste, and vent system have been altered or replaced. The water heater has been removed. All plumbing must be brought up to current Plumbing Code requirements. (1997 Uniform Plumbing Code) 17) There is no heater present. All mechanical installations must meet current Mechanical Code requirements. (1997 Uniform Mechanical Code). 18) The garage and storage building located at the back of the property is unsafe and failing down. Must obtain demolition Permit and remove structure. Check with the City of Lake Elsinore Planning Division to obtain requirements for parking. 19) Remove the abandoned car parts at the rear of the property. 20) Submit three (3) tull sets of required plans to scale on minimum size paper (18" x 24") to the City of Lake Elsinore Building Division for Plan Check and approval. 21) This list is not an authorization to start work.
