Dear Mr. Slavick,
Thank you for your recent inquiry as to the proposed land use designations
relative to subject Assessor Parcel Numbers. Although staff understands your
.concerns and preferences as to the proposed land use designations as.depicted
on the Preferred Land Use Plan, since the beginning of this process it was
generally desired to see this area and the area along Lakeshore adjacent to the
Lake as a Recreational designation, Limited to both passive and active
recreational uses (i.e. commercial recreation facilities such as water oriented
.recreational uses). It is important to rote that once the General Plan is adopted,
staff will be executing a Consistency Zoning process in which staff will be
evaluating the Zoning for each of the stew Land Uses. It is staffs suggestion that
you or your designee attend the Planning Commission Hearing, tentatively
scheduled for April 15, 2008 and make your request.

I wish to address designations within the Lake Edge District Plan maps and land use
designt�tlons.
Cq)r 45 acres on the Northwest corner of the lake is a very desirable location with
frontage on Lakeshore Drive and Riverside Drive for major fixture Recreational and
Commercial Development which,will benefit the City and Comumuaity for years_
The concom in particular is parcel: 4 375 091003-4, 375 091006-7, 375 091005-6,
375 091007-8, 375 100001-9, 375 100003-1, 375 100004-2, 375 100005-3,
375 112001-6,375 000002-0, 379 207007-3, 379 207006-27 379 207003-9.
Our concems are for the accuracy of this very important daeument to reflect the legal,
existing Iand use dusignations to be cartiod over into the updated General flan.
