Project Location(include County): The site of Annexation No. 79 et.al. is located in Riverside County, bounded
on its northern and eastern boundary by the Caty of Lake Elsinore. The site is south of State Highway 74, north
of Second Street, west of Rosetta Canyon Drive, and east of Conard and Cambem Avenues. The Ramsgate
Specific Plan is located approximately one mule east of Interstate 15, south of Highway 74, and west of
,Greenwald Avenue.
Project Description: Commencement of proceedings to bring 75± acres of land into the City boundaries that are
currently in the County of Riverside's jurisdiction and in the Citys Sphere of Influence area, and to amend the
City's General Plan Land Use Map and pre-zone the property `Ramsgate Specific Plan.' Revise the Ramsgate
Specific Plan to include the annexed land for residential development as new Planning Area 11. Subdivide 19.5 ±
acres into 70 single family residential lots and 6 open space lots, including a detention basin and pocket park.
Subdivide 55.06 + acres into 199 single family residences, and 23 open space lots, including a detention basin,
electric power easement and 5.6 acre park.
This is to advise that the . Lake Elsinore City Council(Lead Agency has approved the above project
and has made the following determinations regarding the above described project:
1. The project❑ will ® will not have a significant effect on the environment.
2. An Environmental Impact Report was not prepared for this project pursuant to the provisions of CEQA.
® A Mitigated Negative Declaration was prepared for this project pursuant to the provisions of CEQA.
