Damaris Abraham,
My Name is Teresa Santiago, I 'm responding to the projects you and all the
other city council members want to build in our area: the massive
Constuction Project at the end of Laguna Ave and The Bamiyan Marketplace
Project in the Ortega Feild .
We as a Quite community do not want more stores that will eventually
become empty or have the homeless sitting around in front of, start to
fill up the empty stores and the empty outlet we have now instead of
building more to bring down the price of our homes .
When we moved here 34 years ago the city council were telling new
homeowners to sell in the area that Lake Elsinore was going to be a resort
area for the rich . You have all made very bad choose to make Lake Elsinore
into a dump, with stores and the outlet almost empty, and with homeless
setting up around stores and gas stations and gang members living in our
apartment Buildings .
To Bring up more Apartments what you ' re going to Build at the end of
Laguna Ave we do not need more Apartments so Family' s can move out of L .A.
and bring more Gangs out this way.
Look at the store you are where your allowing to set up and sell marijuana
in a residential area, how dare you do that to a area where we are trying
to raise our children in a quite semi safe area and now your going to put
our area in a very dangerous situation .
we as a community "DO NOT WANT MORE APARTMENTS , BAMIYAN MARKETPLACE
PROJECT IN OUR AREA" . so please hear our voices and think before you make
decisions to make Lake Elsinore into a dump , we need you to beautify Lake
Elsinore and fill in all the empty stores that we have now and don ' t put
them into our semi quite community .
Thank you for listening to our important concerns , please reconsider.
sincerely,
Teresa Santiago
