CALL TO ORDER
The Regular Meeting of the Measure Z Citizen Committee was called to order at 6:00 p.m.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Chair Sadlak led the Pledge of Allegiance.

PRESENTATIONS
1)Introduction of New CAL FIRE Division Fire Chief, Lonny Olson
CAL FIRE Division Chief Lonny Olson introduced himself to the Committee.
2)Introduction and Update by Deputy Jackson
Deputy Jackson introduced herself to the Committee and provided an update from the Riverside County
Sheriff's Office.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Douglas Norfolk was called to speak.
CONSENT CALENDAR
Approval of the Consent Calendar
Motion by Member Lall, seconded by Member Greenwood, to approve the Consent Calendar.
The motion carried by the following vote:

3)Minutes of the Special Measure Z Citizen Committee Meeting of July 1, 2021
Approve the Minutes.
This item was approved on the Consent Calendar.
BUSINESS ITEM
4)Update on 2021-22 Measure Z Budget Spending Plan
Receive and file an update on the Fiscal Year 2021-22 Measure Z Budget Spending Plan.
Deputy City Manager Daily provided a presentation.
STAFF COMMENTS
Staff had no comments.
COMMITTEE MEMBERS' COMMENTS
Member Lall thanked staff for their presentations, hard work, and commitment and addressed Mr. Norfolk's
comments.
Member expressed concern regarding Flint St. at Main St. and Riverside Dr. at Collier.
Member Greenwood inquired what landscape improvements will be made around the I -15/Railroad Canyon
Road interchange project and asked what the status is of the gas station on Sumner and Main St.
Chair Sadlak asked for examples of solutions for traffic aside from stop signs and traffic lights; and asked
the Sheriffs and CalFIRE whether they have the tools they need to perform their duties.
