Citizens' interest provides the Council and Agency with valuable information regarding issues of the community. City Council Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. This City Council Meeting will be televised live on Spectrum Cable Station Channel 29 and Frontier Channel 31 and open to the public for in- person attendance. Additionally, the public may participate in the meeting via Zoom. In light of the quickly evolving circumstances related to COVID -19 and State and County Public Health Orders and published Guidance, the City reserves the right to restrict in- person participation and resume remote -only participation via Zoom. In the event such action is deemed necessary and appropriate, the City will post alerts on the City's website prior to the July 14 City Council Meeting in sufficient time to allow the public to register as instructed below. To participate in the meeting via Zoom, please register prior to the meeting by clicking on the following link: https: / /bit.ly /LakeElsi noreJ u lyl 4 -2020 To protect our constituents, City officials, and City staff, members of the public are requested to follow the California Department of Health Services' guidance and the County of Riverside Public Health Officer Order for the Control of COVID-19. Guidance issued by the California Department of Health Services on June 18, 2020 requires that members of the public wear face coverings in high -risk situations, which includes when inside of, or in line to enter, any indoor public space. Social distancing is also required in addition to wearing face coverings. In order to comply with these guidelines, persons entering the Cultural Center must wear face coverings and observe social distancing. Those wishing to speak will be provided a speaker's form to fill out, which forms will also be made available directly outside of the Cultural Center. Members of the public wishing to address the City Council may have to wait outside of the Cultural Center until their name is called. The California Department of Health Services' guideline issued on June 18, 2020, along with limited exceptions, can be found at: https: // bit. ly/ CaliforniaFaceCoveringGuidelines The agenda is posted 72 hours prior to each meeting outside of City Hall and is available at each meeting. The agenda and related reports are also available at City Hall on the Friday prior to the meeting and are available on the City's website at www.Lake- Elsinore.org.
