Background Each year, the Mayor makes recommendations as to the individual Council Members being appointed to the various Governmental Agency and City committees, Subcommittees, and Ad- Hoc committees. Discussion The Mayor is recommending that the City remove the following Local Committees for the reasons identified below:  Chamber of Commerce – EDC Board o Duties have been assigned to the Economic Development Subcommittee  HOPE, Inc. o No meetings have been held in the last twelve months  Regional Cancer Services Taskforce o This taskforce has been disbanded  Southwest Cities Economic Development Coalition o Duties have been assigned to the Economic Development Subcommittee Fiscal Impact There is no cost associated with this item.
