Subject: Meeting Dates for 2020
Recommendation
Review the 2020 meeting dates and approve the cancellation of the Regular meetings of
November 24 and December 22, 2020.
Background
The Regular meetings of the City Council and the Successor Agency are set in the Municipal
Code as the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. The Council has the authority to cancel
meetings as necessary.
Discussion
The meetings of November 24th and December 22nd are the weeks of Thanksgiving and
Christmas. Due to the potential of a lack of quorum because of the holidays, it is recommended
that the meetings be cancelled.
All remaining meeting dates for the year, as listed in Exhibit A, do not pose any foreseen
conflicts at this time.
Fiscal Impact
There is no cost associated with this item.
