Subject:On-call and Minor Construction Contractor Services Agreement between
Pursuit Electric Inc. and the Successor Agency for the City of Lake Elsinore
Recommendations
1. Approve the on-call minor construction Contractor Services Agreement between Pursuit
Electric Inc. and the Successor Agency in the amount of $35,000.00 in the form attached and in
such final form as approved by the Agency Attorney.
2. Authorize the Agency Executive Director to execute change orders not to exceed the 10%
contingency amount of $3,500.00 for additional on-call and minor construction work as needed.
Background
During the last year staff has utilized the on-call electrical contractor services of Pursuit Electric
Inc. These services have been individually proposed by Pursuit Electric Inc. and have been
exceptional in quality and cost. The availability of Pursuit Electric to perform a wide range of
electrical citywide jobs has been highly supportive and timely. Pursuit Electric Inc. has provided
essential electrical contractor services which includes but is not limit to the below electrical
maintenance/ minor electrical installation and repair trade areas commonly utilized by the City:
Electrical Trouble Shooting and Repair
Electrical Power Supply and Circuitry
Power Panel Certification and Grounding
Electrical Conduit and Wire Repair
New Electrical Installation
Lighting Repair and Installation
Electrical Design
Discussion
Multiple tasks have been completed by Pursuit Electric Inc. Many of these tasks have been
urgent requirements effecting City operational efforts and continued citywide services. Every
assigned work effort has been proposed in writing, reviewed and negotiated by Staff and

approved for execution. This work effort has included a wide range of City requirements, time
sensitive and urgent City operational demands representative of the work below:
Bobber Power Supply Modification
Entry Gate Motor Power Supply
Cal OSHA Restroom Facility Electrical Installation
Neighborhood Center Electrical Installation and Main Panel Certification
Stadium Emergency Repairs
City-wide Emergency Repairs
This agreement is needed to ensure the continued on-call and minor construction contractor
support is in place for immediate operational demands and minor electrical projectsat the Lake
Elsinore Diamond Stadium. The sustainment of these essential services will enablethe Agency
to address immediate needs at the Stadium.
Following the approval of this agenda item work and execution of the attached agreement
services will be available to the Agency, Staff has reviewed and verified the contractor has a
valid license and a review of the contractor’s references and General and Auto Liability
Insurances and Workers’ Compensation Insurance are in place naming the City as additional
insured.
Fiscal Impact
Funds are budgeted in the Fiscal Year 2019/20 budgetand will be funded with RPTTF allocated
through the ROPS.
