A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE,
CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE NAME OF A PORTION OF VILLAGE PARKWAY TO
SCARLET OAK
Whereas, the street known as Village Parkway exists in the City of Lake Elsinore, and circles the
Summerly community; and,
Whereas, a portion of Village Parkway exists between two sections of a street named Scarlet
Oak; and,
Whereas, the change of this street name is desirable for this portion of Village Parkway in order
to promote continuity in address assignments,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. This portion of Village Parkway is hereby changed and will hereafter be referred to as
Scarlet Oak.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to
the County Board of Supervisors.
Section 3. The Community Development Department is hereby ordered and directed to notify the
postal service, utility purveyors, and emergency response services of said name change.
Section 4. The Public Works Department is hereby ordered and directed to cause changes to be
made to existing street signs.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and enter it into the book
of original Resolutions.
