Subject:Offers of Dedication for a Portion of Ulla Lane
Recommendation
adopt A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE
ACCEPTING IRREVOCABLE OFFERS OF DEDICATION RELATING TO ULLA LANE.
Background
Ulla Lane is currently a paved street that has been dedicated for public use but not formally
accepted by theCity. The City has previously received Irrevocable Offers of Dedication
pursuant torecordedParcel Maps 7016, 7361, 7362, 14777, and Tract Map 32996 which
provide for the dedication of certain real property, constituting thatportion of Ulla Lane
described above, for public roadway purposes.
Ulla Lane provides one of the two points of access to the Cottage Lane project which isdeemed
necessary for publicaccess andsafety. The Cottage Lane project is currently under
construction.
Discussion
According to the City Engineer, the Cottage Lane project is nearing completion. During
construction of the Cottage Lane project, this segment of roadway has been blocked by a
construction fence.
Prior to removing the construction fence and opening the portion ofUlla Lane to vehicular travel,
the City Council must accept the Offers of Dedication which will thereby make that segment of
Ulla Lane a public roadway under the jurisdiction of the City.
Fiscal Impact
There is no fiscal impact to adopt the proposed Resolution.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE,
CALIFORNIAACCEPTING IRREVOCABLE OFFERS OF DEDICATION RELATING
TO ULLA LANE
Whereas, the City received Irrevocable Offers of Dedication pursuant the following recorded
maps:Parcel Map 7016, 7361, 7362, 1477 and Tract Map 32996, which provide for the
dedication of certain real property, constituting a portion of Ulla Lane, for public roadway and
related purposesas provided in those subdivision maps identifiedin Exhibit A attached hereto
and incorporated herein (the “Public Rights of Way”); and,
Whereas, pursuant to Government Code Section 7050, the City Council may, at its discretion,
acceptirrevocable offers of dedicationof interests in real property located within the City for any
public purpose; and,
Whereas,the City Engineer has reviewedthe irrevocable Offers of Dedication and recommends
that the City Council accept said offers; and,
Whereas,upon acceptance of the irrevocable Offers of Dedication, Ulla Lane shall be accepted
into the City’s system of maintained roads.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINOREDOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That the foregoingrecitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by
reference.
Section 2.That theIrrevocable Offers of Dedication of Public Right of Way as described in
Exhibit A attached hereto are hereby accepted.
Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby ordered to cause the recordation of this Resolution in
the Riverside County Recorder’s Office.
Section 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and
the same shall thereupon take effect and be in force.

California, filed in Book 23 of Maps, Page 75, in the Office of the County
Recorder of Said County;
Parcel Map 7362 in the City of Lake Elsinore, County of Riverside, State of
California, filed in Book 22 of Maps, Page 75, in the Office of the County
Recorder of Said County;
Parcel Map 14777 in the City of Lake Elsinore, County of Riverside, State of
California, filed in Book 72, Page 74 of Maps, in the Office of the County
Recorder of Said County.
Excepting therefrom that abandonment of public streets and public easements as
set forth in Tract 32996 in the City of Lake Elsinore, County of Riverside, State of
California, filed in Book 413 of Maps, Pages 94-96 inclusive, in the Office of the
County Recorder of Said County.
