INTENT The City of Lake Elsinore is currently accepting bids for the demolition of a substandard building. This demolition may involve the removal of materials containing hazardous materials. (Report attached) II. SITE LOCATION The new neighborhood center will be located at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Site. APN 374-252-002 117 S Langstaff Street, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530 Aerial 11 374-252-002 Bldg A Bldg B III. SCOPE OF WORK Contractors will furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform the removal of all asbestos and lead- based paint contaminants from both structures A & B in aerial photo shown above. Additionally, Contractors will furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform the demolition and clean-up of Building B as designated in Aerial 11 shown above. Any chain link fencing surrounding the property is to be removed during the demolition. IV. JOB WALK A job walk is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Attendance is mandatory. V. ABATEMENT Contractors must secure all necessary permits to demolish the building as required by law, including but not limited to, a City demolition permit. VI. DISPOSAL The City of Lake Elsinore has awarded an exclusive solid waste franchise agreement to CR&R Incorporated. Under the franchise, CR&R is the only waste hauler permitted to collect and dispose all waste including commercial, residential and construction debris within the City of Lake Elsinore.
