Good morning Brad and Richard,
We have reviewed the proposed Third St. Storm Drain, “Stage 2” plans provided to us and
determined that the best solution for a future lateral connection and pick-up point is near the
proposed lateral “A” as shown on the attached plans. The connection promulgated at the east side
of Third St. discussed at the coordination meeting will not work due to utility conflicts (namely the
30-inch Water line).
Mr. John O’Doherty is on the east coast today and has requested that I send you the attached plans
and preliminary calculations for inclusion in the public record for tonight’s City Council meeting. We
desire to have this additional 42-iinch RCP stub-out installed so that a future lateral can be
installed/extended to intercept the interim flows on the O’Doherty parcel by the developer.
Richard, please have this included for the record in the City Council and we will fully support the
project moving forward.
