Susan, we asked that you read this out tonight!
On behalf of the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Lake Elsinore
Valley Chamber of Commerce is fully supportive of the City of Lake Elsinore’s Preliminary Capital
Improvement Plan Budget for Fiscal years 2017/18 to 2021/22.
The Board is very supportive of the investment infrastructure, circulation and transportation
projects:
We are fully committed to supporting the following:
1. $14 million investment on I-15 interchanges at Railroad Canyon, Main Street and Central
Avenue/Hwy 74
2. $13.6 million investment at La Laguna Resort and Boat Launch campground that will create a
tourism destination for the City as well as create a catalyst project for private investment on
Riverside Drive.
3. $4.6 million in renovations to Diamond Stadium
4. $3 million to widen Railroad canyon from Canyon Hills road to the I-15.
5. $775,000 to create a parking lot at the gateway to Historic Downtown Lake Elsinore that is
undergoing a Renaissance!!!
We are very pleased with the direction the City Council and City Manager are taking for our great
City and look forward to working with you on attracting future investors that see the pride and
investment that are City is making for the future!!!
