RESOLUTION NO. 2016-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE,
CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR FY 2016-
17 AND SELECTING THE POPULATION AND INFLATION FACTOR
ACCORDINGLY
WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the California Constitution and Government Code Section
7910-7913 require that the governing body of each local agency select its methodology, make
necessary determinations and adopt by resolution, its appropriation limit.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Appropriations Limit will be calculated based on the changes in City
population and California per capita personal income.
SECTION 2. The Appropriations Limit for the City of Lake Elsinore for FY 2016-17,
calculated in accordance with “Exhibit A” attached hereto, is hereby established and adopted as
$86,752,899.
SECTION 3. Said Appropriations Limit shall be adhered to in the City of Lake Elsinore’s
budget for the 2016-17 Fiscal Year.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall
cause a certified Resolution to be filed in the office of the City Clerk.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Lake Elsinore, California, on the 31st day of May, 2016.
