A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE
ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUATION OF
THE ARTS AND CULTURE SUBCOMMITTEE
WHEREAS, on July 28, 2015, the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore,
California (“City”) approved the creation of an Arts and Culture Ad Hoc Subcommittee to
support the enhancement of arts and culture throughout the City of Lake Elsinore; and
WHEREAS, the Ad Hoc Subcommittee is creating avenues for artists of various
styles and platforms to bring culture to all areas of the community; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to continue to participate with enhancing arts and
culture as a way to bring economic vitality to the City;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Authorizes the continuation of the Arts and Culture Subcommittee
and changes the status from an Ad Hoc committee to a subcommittee of the City
Council.
SECTION 2. The committee shall be made up of two Council members and City
staff as determined by the City Manager.
SECTION 3. The meetings shall be held on an as needed basis as determined
by the committee, in a City facility based on availability.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage and adoption.
