The Board of Trustees of the City of '�'lsinore, met in regular
session, members present at roll call were; Trustees; Keck,
Stewart, and Amsbury. Niemann and Merrifield absent.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved by
the Board, it was so ordered.
street committee reported the repairing of Pottery Ptreet
Bridge, and upon motion and its second the report was accepted.

Marshals report showing the collection of 61I39.50 License, was
read accepted and filed.
^he resignation of 'Airs. C.I. Kirkpatrick, as a member of the
Library Board was read, and upon motion of 'Trustee Amsbury,
seconded by Trustee Stewart, that the resignation of IAirs.
Kirkjatrick: shall not be accepted, and that the Clerk be instrueted
to notify her to that effect, and also, that the Board was heartly
in favor of keeping Talisa Lowman, on the library Board, motion
carried.
The bid of. John Timmie for digging ditches, and laying pipe
for the City was read and filed, also the bid of J. Schweizer,
for doing the sftme work was read and filed.
The Chair appointed Trustee _Amsbury auditing committee Pro -tem.
The following bills were .read; R. H. Irirkpatrick,for salary $I5.00
N.L.Slosson, $I.50 C.A. Townsend, salary and materials,$5I.50
C.P.Carter, salary and freight,1Y23.23 Y.L.Williams, salary 075.00
J. Timmis,IW3.25 Quality Electric Co, for re -winding City Motor

.j)46.50. And upon motion of Trustee gtewart, seconded by Truetee
Amsbury, that the bills as read and audited be allowed and warrants
dr-wn on the treasuary for their several amounts, :notion carried.
The treasurers report togather with one water cupon No.34
was read, And upon motion of Trustee Stewart, seconded by Trustee
Amsbury, the report was received and filed, and that the Chair be
instructed to burn the cupon, motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board_, the
71?oard adjourned.

Elsinore, Cal Oct, 5th, I014.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Elsinore, met in regular
session, members prement at roll call wewe; Trustees, Keck,Stewart,
Niemann and Amsbury. Merrifield Absent.
The minutes of the last regular session were read and approved
by the Board, it was so ordered.
The street committee reported running the street grader over the
streets Saturday and Monday, and cleaned up the gutters on the several
streets. and upon motion duly seconded, the report was aiccepted.
The Zanjeros report was read and filed. A communication from the
Commercial club, signed by its secretary, requesting the Board to
set aside the I6 Day of Oct,I9I4, as Elsinore Day. And upon motion
of Trustee Stewart, seconded by Trustee Amebury,that the I6th day
of October I9I4, be ett aside as Elsinore Day. Motion carried.
A Communication from the League of Lunicipalities was read and
filed.
The Chair appointed Trustee Amsbury, auditing committee Protem.
The following Bills were read. Macy & Co, for Oil $22.80. E.S.
Trumble, for Sept, $I2.50. John Timmis, for labor, $7.75. W. L.
Taylor,for tax notice, x`4.50. Southern Sierras Power Co, For street
lights,t8I.55 ;peptic tank power ZI5.05 Total $96.60. Western metal
supply Co, for 603 ft, of 2" pipe, $60.90. with $2.00 Credit.
C. P. Carter, for freight & Envelops,$I7.66. And upon motion of
Trustee Stewart, seconded by Trustee Niemann, that the bills as read
and audited be allowed, and warrants drawn on the Treasuary for
their several amounts. The vote on the passage of the bills stands
as follows; AYES: Trustees Stewart, Amsbury, Niemann and Keck.
noes none, so ordered.
The matter of establishing a side walk grade for Iir. Macy, came
up fpr. consideration, And upon motion of Trustee Stewart, seconded
by Trustee Amsbury, that kr, Conner, be authorized to establish
said grade. motion carried. Upon motion of 'trustee Stewart, seconded
by Trustee Amsbury,tha.t the Chair be appointed a committee to inter-
view the Supervisor of this district, in providing ways and means
for transpobting two people from this City to their homes in the East.
