Recommendations
1) Award Job Task #1 for the Purchase & Installation of Vinyl Fencing for
Shoreline Safety to the Mesa Fence Co. in the amount of $17,600 and
authorize the City Manager to execute a purchase requisition.
2) Approve expending funds from the General Fund unallocated revenue for
the installation of frontage and entryway fencing, as well as lighting and
landscape improvements in an amount not to exceed of $76,510.
3) Award Job Task #2 for the Purchase & Installation of Vinyl Fencing for
Frontage & Entryway to the Mesa Fence Co. in the amount of $51,510 and
authorize the City Manger to execute a purchase requisition.

We hereby propose to fiinush the materials and perform the labor necessary for the completion of installing vinyl rail fence
as per plans, specs and prevailing wages, as follows:
JOB TASK # 1- nstall 1,072' of 4 rail fence, including 1 -16' double swing gate,

JOB TASK # 2- Install 2,332' of 4 rail, 1,160' of 2 rail and 304' of 1 rail fence,

Exclusions include: anything not listed above, permits and or special licenses, other than C -13, clearing of any foliage, if
applicable, weekend work.
Complete job will take approximately 12 days to install. Please allow approximately 2 -3 weeks lead time for material.
Material is "Certain Teed Bufftech ", certagram texture, colonial white. Please note that due to the texture of this material it
is prone to collect dirt.
All material is guaranteed to, be as specified, and the above work to be performed in accordance with the drawings and
specifications subs - pitted for above work and completed in a substantial workmanlike manner for the sum of

Any alteration or deviation from the above -specifications involving extra costs, will be executed only upon written orders,

delays beyond our control. Owner is to carry fire and all other liability insurance on above property. M.F.CO. Inc. is not

conditions and requirements unless specifically stipulated to the
contrary in our cover page(s). These Conditions shall be incorporated
into our contract. Should these Conditions be at variance with the
Plans, Specifications or Conditions of the Project Documents for the
noted project, these Conditions shall take precedence.
1. See attached Alcorn Fence Company quote for materials, work to
be performed and exclusions.
2. Material Lead time is 3 `� to 4 112. weeks from the time of approved
material submittal.
3. Installation of the new fence is estimated to be 3 weeks.

4. Total estimated time to furnish and install new vinyl fence is

6. Concrete fence footing is -included in Alcorn's quote (12" dia.
by 36" deep).
7. Removal of the old fence, any obstructions and clearing &
grubbing is to be by others (not included -in this scope).
8. one (1) mobilization or demobilization effort by Alcorn Fence
has been included.
9. Repairs or relocation of any utilities is not included.
10.No extended overhead has been added to this proposal.
(Additional cost may be required pending time of material
submittal approval. and Change Order NTP).
11.No survey or engineering costs have been -included.
12.No haul off include.
13.Based on working eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per
week, Monday-Friday.
I.A.Excludes permit fees.
15.Excludes bond. if bond is required add 1%.
16.Invoice on a monthly basis.
