Attention: Virginia Bloom, City Clerk:
It has come to our attention that a special meeting is taking place tonight to discuss the
termination of our City Manager, Bob Brady. My husband Ray and I are in favor of the
termination for the following reasons: It's taken eight years to get a General Plan going
after spending a ton of money and where are we in the process? Also, the fact that Bob
would be leaving his position with severance of over $500,000.00 in his pocket- for what?
Doing a fair to poor job? No way. That is ridiculous in these hard times. Please have this
read into the minutes at tonight's meeting.
Thank you, Ray and April Booze

Subject: Tom Brady severance check
Dear Ms. Bloom,
I would like to express my opinion regarding the possible severance funds that
Tom Brady is asking for. If he indeed is terminated from his position, it is due to
the fact that he has not been as effective and productive as expected. I don't think
that it is right for Mr. Brady to "pad his wallet" at the expense of Lake Elsinore.
The city of Lake Elsinore needs many improvements, and is often referred to as
the "armpit" of the Inland Empire. Let's put that money into the common goal of
improving the City of Lake Elsinore.
Thank you,
Tiffany Brockie
Lake Elsinore Resident

Honorable Mayor and City Council Members,
It is with thoughtfulness and true sincerity that we, the employees of the City of Lake
Elsinore, write this letter of support for City Manager Bob Brady.
As City employees, we work with Bob Brady on a daily basis. We respect his outstanding
work ethic, excellent management skills, cheerful attitude and open door policy, for not
only his employees, but for all who call or come into City Hall. He thoughtfully resolves
issues that arise, and no matter how large or small, takes the time to listen and review
all sides, understanding the importance of each issue to every individual. We have
found Mr. Brady to be a person of integrity, someone who follows through on his
commitments and attempts to do his genuine best each day of his work life.
Bob Brady has worked for the City of Lake Elsinore for the last fourteen years, seven of
these as Community Development Director before becoming the City Manager. As City
Manager, Bob has fostered a teamwork environment and improved relations between
City Council and City Staff. He has worked with nine different Elected City Council
Officials and provided support for each of their various initiatives. Mr. Brady has done a
commendable job leading our City through difficult times. He has done this without the
support of an Assistant City Manager or a Community Development Director, taking
these responsibilities upon himself. He is conscientious, responsible and respectful
while working with City Council, City employees and City residents alike. Bob Brady has
proven himself to be a fair- minded knowledgeable leader, an asset to this community
and we strongly support his leadership.
Mr. Brady's community pride in Lake Elsinore makes him an inspiration to all who know
him. He has been seen ringing the bell for the Salvation Army in front of our local
stores, helping H.O.P.E. distribute food, and clearing weeds and picking up trash during
our Clean Extreme program. He is an active Rotarian and involved with many other
community organizations as well. A thirteen year resident, Bob Brady has only the best
interests of Lake Elsinore at heart. City Staff believes Bob is doing an outstanding job as
City Manager for the City of Lake Elsinore and we stand together in support of him.
Respectfully,
Lake Elsinore City Staff
