NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON
THE TAXABLE PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF
ELSINORE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1940 -41.

The City Council of the City of Elsinore, Riverside
County, State of California, does ordain as follows:
Section 1. The amount of money necessary to be raised
by taxation upon the taxable property in the City of Elsinore for
the fiscal year 1940 -41 as a revenue to carry on the several
departments of the City for said year and to pay the bonded in-
debtedaess of said City of hereby fixed as follows:
For the Genreal Fund the amount of 5566.75
For the Library Fund the amount of 890.68
For the City Park Fund the amount of 1670.02
For the 1912 Sewer Bond Fund the amount of 8 668.01
For the 1924 Sewer Bond Fund the amount of 1224.68
For the 1930 Sewer Bond Fund the amount of 1336.02
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the
Elsinore Leader Press.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Elsinore this 26th day of August, 1940, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: C. A. Lovejoy, Roy Macy, Henry Perret,
and N. Matich.
NOES: Councilmen: None.
ABSENT: Councilman: J. E. Mills

I, C. J. KALINA, the duly elected, qualified and acting
City Clerk of the City of Elsinore, California, do hereby certify
that the foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly introduced on
the 12th day of August, 1940 and was passed and adopted by the
City Council of said City of Elsinore at the regular meeting of
said Council held on the 26th day of August, 1940 by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Lovejoy, Macy, Perret, and Matich
NOES: Councilmen: None.
ABSENT: Councilman: J. E. Mills
