WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees of the City of Elsinore, at its regular
meeting held and had in the City Hall of the City of Elsinore, on the 7th day
of Julie 1924„ by a vote of more than taro- thirds of all its members duly passed
and adopted a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD CF TRUSTEES OF

VALUABLE CITY RECORDS, AND A DISGRACE TO THE CITY, AS WELL AS A REFLECTION t'

SAFE AND APPROPRIA BUILDING TO BE USED AS A CITY HALL OR MUNICIPAL BUILDING''
and which said resolution is numbered Ill, and said Resolution was thereupon
duly signed and approved by the President of said Board of Trustees of said
City, and was duly attested and certified by the City Clerk of said City.
NOW, THEREnCRI, The Board of Trustees of the City of Elsinore do
ordain as foliowsr-
Sections: That a special election be held and the same is hereby
called and ordered to be held in the City of Elsinore on the 7th day of
October 1924, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said Cat
proposition of incurring an indebtedness by said City in the amount hereinafter
stated and for the purposes set fortes in said Resolution and hereinafter state

ness is proposed to be incurred ore as follows.®
The purchase of "The Hot Springs Inn "4 at the corner of Main & Prospect
Streets in the City, of 1Isinore, for the use of the City as a City Bell or
municipal Building,
Se tiqna; That the estimated cost of said proposed acquisition
or purchase of said building is the said: of Ten Thousand rrll.ard 410000,00)
over and above available funds now on hard, and the indebtedness proposed to
be Incurred is the sum of Ter Thousand Dollars (,$,10000.00), for the purchase
of said building as and for a. City Hall, and that the maximum rate of interest
to by prima on said indebtedness shall be seven (7) per cent per annum, payable
_semi - annually, That if he proposition for the incurring of said indebted-
ness For said purpose so submitted receives two-thirds of the votes of the
qualified Voters voting at said election, then, an obligation or indebtedness
of said City in a sum not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars stall be incurred
for the object and purpose set forth in section two (2) hereof,
Section 4< That the polls of said election shall, be opened at
eight (8) o'clock a.m. of the day of said electicn and shall be kept open, until
sin (6) 0 clock p.m, of the same day when the polls shall close. Provided,
however, that if at the said hour of closing, there are any voters it the poll -
ing place or in line at the door thereof, who are qualified to vote and have
not been able to do so since appearing, the palls shall be kept open: a suf-
ficient time to enable them to vote, but no one who shall arrive at the
polling place after six (6) o'clock p.m. of said day shall be entitled to
vote although the polls may be open when he arrives,
The ballot to be used at :aid election shall be consolidated with the
special municipal bond election called and to be held in said City on said
date, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said City a
certain proposition to issue bonds of said City in the sum of Fifteen thousand
Dollars for increasing and improving the municipal water- supply of said City,
and said ballot shall be substantially as follows,

County elections are consolidated into one voting. precinct to be known as
"Consolidated Voting Precinct At; :which said consolidated precinct consists
of all of the territory within the exterior boundaries of said City of Elaine
that the City Hall it sa.ii City of Elsinore is hereby designated as the
polling place it which said election shall be held, That the following
named persons, being competent and qualified electors and residents of said
City and precinct, are hereby appointed officers of elections for said
elections, and they shall hold said election and make return thereof in the

the election hereby castled is hereby consolidated with a certain special
municipal board election called in said City for the purpose of submitting to
the qualified voters thereof the proposition to bond said City in the sum of
Fifteens Thousand 71 ollers for the securing, of a more sufficient and adequate
water supply for said City, to be held in said City on the 7th day of
Cct.ober, 1924, at which the qualified voters of said City are entitled to
vote and the election precinct, polling place end officers of election far

dated and signed by the president of the Board cf Trustees of said City on to
23rd day of September 1924, and duly certified by the Clerk of said City ors

weeks in the Lake E lsinore Valley Press, a newspaper published less than
six. (6) days a seek insaid City of Elsinore and no other notice of said
