AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED, AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE FOR TH7
CONSERVATION OF THE MUNICIPAL WATER IN THE CITY OF
ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE WATER RATES TO BE
CHARGED BY CONSUMERS USING WATER THROUGH A WATER MET3
IN THE SAID CITY OF ELSINORE,
The Board of Trustees of the City of Elsinore do
Ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the water rate per month to be c
charged anp"a13-by all consumers using water measured
through a water meter from the Municipal Water System,
shall be One dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) for the first
one thousand (1,000) cubic feet, and ten cents (10�) for
each additional One- hundred (100) cubic feet or fractional
part thereof used through said meter provided, however,
that no such rate shall be less than One - dollar and fifty -
cents ($1.50) per month.
Section 2. That the shortage of water not only
In the l�ty or El inure, but throughout the whole State
of California is a condition that must be met by conservation.
Therefore the City of Elsinore must eliminate the waste of
water by the installing of meters where the same is practical.
That this Ordinance is of an emergency, and the same shall be
in full force and effect on the 13th day of June, 1324.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage o —Ss rdinance, and cause the same to be published
in the manner provided by law.
