HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Reso No 1970-1339RESOLUTION No. 1339 A RESOLUTION OF THE ELSINORE CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN AND WORKING CONDITIONS FOR THE 1970 -71 FISCAL YEAR. WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the revised Salary Recommendations, revised Classification Plan and working programs for the fiscal year 1970 -71, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Job Classification and Pay Plan be adopted with working conditions as contained therein. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of July, 1970 Florene Marshall F.G. Perkins City Clerk Mayor PUBLIC WORKS PERSONNEL SALARY, WAGES & WORKING CONDITIONS 1970 -71 FISCAL YEAR The following shall be applicable to Public Works Personnel'? 1. All regular week -end work and holidays shall be compensated by equal time off i.e., Saturday and Sundays worked shall require that the employee be off on Monday and Tuesday. If Monday is a holiday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday shall be the days off. 2. Sundays and 'holidays worked. shall be in addition to equal time off, compensated with an additional $5.00 per each Sunday and holiday worked. 3. Any employee called back to work for emergency shall receive not less that two (2) haurs pay at regular time. 4. Each qualified employee shall work Saturday, Sunday and holidays on a rotation basis and as assigned by the Supt. of Public Works. 5. Each qualified employee shall be assigned to emergency call back on a rotation basis and the Public Works Supt. shall maintain and post a list showing employees name and date assigned. Changes on such list shall not be permitted unless approved by the Supt. of Public Works. 6. Overtime as a continuance of the regular work day shall not be permitted unless specifically approved by the Supt. of Public Works. 7. Whenever an employee is assigned to the emergency call back list, he is expected to report his whereabouts to the Sheriff's Dept. if he is not going to be available for a period of one hour or more. If the employee is leaving town he should notify the Sheriff's Office so that the next man on the list will be called. If the employee knows in advance that he cannot be available he should inform the Supt. of Public Works. 8. Holidays are as follows: 1. Independence Day 2. Labor Day 3. Admission Day 4. Columbus Day 5. Veteran's Day 6. Thanksgiving Day. 7. Christmas 8. New Years Day 9. Lincoln's Birthday 10. Washington's Birthday 11. Memorial Day Effective January 1, 1971, the following holidays will be observed as Monday holidays which will give a 3 day week -end. Washington's Birthday Memorial Day Columbus Day Veterans Day 4th Monday in February 4th Monday in May 2nd Monday in October 4th Monday in October RESOLUTION NO. 134o A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING CERTAIN CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS IN THE ASSESSMENT IN TIE MATTER OF n CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS TOGETHER WITH ACQUISITION IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.1 IN SAID CITY AND COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk an assessment to represent the costs and expenses of the work and improvement done pursuant to proceedings had and taken under the provisions of the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913 ", being Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and pursuant to the "Report" filed and approved on the 24th day of July, 1970, in the matter of the construction of certain improvements together with acquisition in ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1; and WHEREAS, the public interest and convenience require that certain changes and modifications be made in the assessment roll and diagram as filed with the City Clerk. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY" RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1.
