HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Reso No 1970-1324RESOLUTION NO. 1324 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elsinore that after careful consideration and study, AGREEMENT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES BETWEEN COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE AND CITY OF ELSINORE, dated June 15, 1970 is hereby accepted with the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute same. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of June, 1970 Attest: Florene Marshall City Clerk Norman L. Chaffin Mayor RESOLUTION NO. 1325 A RESOLUTION OF THE ELSINORE CITY COUNCIL SUPPORTING CONTINUANCE OF THE LAIw' ELSINORE RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT AND REQUESTING THAT THE LOCAL AGENCY FOR - MATION COMMISSION SUPPORT CONTINUANCE. WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that approximately forty -seven percent (4rr) of the assessed valuation of the Lake Elsinore Recreation and Park District lies within the City limits and WHEREAS, the Lake Elsinore Recreation and Park District.is deemed to be a vital and necessary local agency which has and continues to provide park and recreation service within the District in accordance with the State Statutes under which ist was formed and, WHEREAS, the property tax revenues levied by the District have been expended for the benefit of property owners within the total District and in accordance with the State Statutes under which the District was formed. NOW, THEREFORE BE Ia RESOLVED that the Elsinore City Council respectfully submits to the Local Agency Formation Commission that the Lake Elsinore Recreation and Park District has and is performing its function and should not be dissolved. Chaffin Mayor BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE that the tax rate per one - hundred dollar assessed valuation for the City of Elsinore for the fiscal year of 1970 -71 shall be as follows: General Fund $1.00 Park Fund •30 Employee's Trust Fund .10 Total tax rate $1.40 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of June, 1970.
