that the following questions, propositions

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINO_RE, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOU,E, DECLARE
AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That said City Council pursuant to the laws of the State of California and in particular
the Election Code of said State does hereby order to be submitted to the qualified electors of said City
at said general municipal election to be held on the 14th day of April, 1970, the following questions,
propositions and measures, to wit:

be counted in favor of the adoption of the question, proposition or measure. A cross (+) placed in the
voting square after the word "NO" in the manner hereinbefore provided shall be counted against the
adoption of the question, proposition or measure.
SECTION 2. That all other reauirements and provisions as contained in Resolution No. 1306 in
connection with the ballots, notices, printed matter, supplies, equipment, paraphernalia, voting
precincts, officers, compensation and other requirements as set forth in said Resolution No. 1306
be and the same are hereby adopted.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter
the same in the book of original Resolutions of said City, and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption
thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at
which the same is passed and adopted.
SECTION 4. That this resolution shall take effect immediately.

RESOLUTION NO. 1311

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elsinore that Mayor Norman L. Chaffin is hereby
directed and authorized to prepare arguments regarding the measures on the April ballot.

Conditional Use Permit as per Planning Commission Recommendation.

RESOLUTION NO. 1313
BE 11 RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elsinore that the City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise for sealed bids for a City Park Restroom facility with alternate bids for roofing
and vandal proof fixtures.

RESOLUTION NO. 1314

BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Elsinore, State of California, in regular
session assembled on February 25, 1970, that the Mayor was authorized and directed to execute this Resolution
of Acceptance on behalf of said City for the following described property:
That portion of Lot 1, Block 1, Town of Elsinore, as recorded in Book 6,
Page 302, in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Diego,
situated in the City of Elsinore, County of Riverside, described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of southwesterly line of Main Street
(formerly Short Street), 60 -feet wide, with the northeasterly right
of way line of the Elsinore, Pomona and Los Angeles, Railroad as
described in Book 45, Page 109, of Deeds, Riverside County Records;
thence northwesterly along the southwesterly line of Short Street a
distance of 65 feet; thence southwesterly at right angles from said
southwesterly line to the northeasterly right of way line of said
railroad; thence southeasterly along said northeasterly right of
way line to the point of beginning.

RESOLUTION NO. 1315

BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Elsinore, effective February 16, 1970, requests participation in the
Shell Oil Company bulk purchases award by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors for the purchase of
gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene and stove oil.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Elsinore, approves the following terms
and conditions relating to participation in the County contract on gasoline, diesel oil, Kerosene and
stove oil:
1. Will make all purchases in its own name, for public use only;
2. Will be responsible for payment directly to the vendor and for
tax liability, and will hold the County harmless therefrom;
3. Has not and will not have in force any other contract for like
purchases;
4. Has not obtained and does not have under consideration written
bids or quotations from other vendors for like purchases.
