Bartlett Mayor of the City of Elsinore A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, THE 12TH DAY OF APRIL, 1966, FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS OF SAID CITY AS REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES. WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to General Law Cities in the State of California, a regular general municipal election shall be held on the 12th day of April, 1966, for the election of 2 members of the City Council of said City for the full term of four years. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the State of California relating to General Law Cities within said State, there shall be, and there is hereby called and ordered, held in the City of Elsinore, County of Riverside, State of California, on Tuesday, the 12th day of April, 1966, a regular general municipal election of the qualified electors of said City for the purpose of electing 2 members of the City Council of said City for the full term of four years. SECTION 2. That the ballots to be used at said election shall be, both as to form and matter contained therein, such as may be required by law to be used thereat. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized, instructed and directed to procure and furnish any and all official ballots, notices, printed matter and all supplies, equipment and parapher- nalia that may be necessary in order to properly and lawfully conduct said election. SECTION 4. That for the purpose of holding said regular general municipal election precincts in the City of Elsinore established for the holding of state and county elections, as said regular election pre- cincts exist on the date of adoption of this resolution. That the polling places for the respective pre- cincts shall be the places hereinafter designated; and that the persons hereinafter named, being competent and qualified electors and residents of said City and of their respective voting precincts, are hereby appointed officers of election for their respective voting precincts and they shall hold said election and make return thereof in the manner provided by law. That the compensation of the persons hereinabove named as election officers is hereby fixed at the sum of $18.00 for each Inspector, and $15.00 for each Judge and Clerk, for said election. The rental for each of such polling places, where a charge is made, shall be the sum of $10.00 for said election. When required, the compensation of the Custodian of a building shall be $10.00 for said election. SECTION 6. That the polls for said election shall be open at seven o'clock A.M. of the day of said election, and shall remain open continuously from said time until seven o'clock P.M. of the same day, when said polls shall be closed, except as provided in Section 14436 of the Elections Code of the State of California. SECTION 7. That in all particulars not recited in this Resolution, said election shall be held and conducted as provided by law for holding municipal elections in said City. SECTION 8. That notice of the time and place of holding said election is hereby given and the City Clerk is hereby authorized, instructed and directed to give such further or additional notice of said election in time, form and manner as required by law. SECTION 9. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original Resolutions of said City; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted. SECTION 10. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of January, 1966. Bartlett Mayor of the City of Elsinore RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT PROCEEDINGS HAVE BEEN INITIATED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE TO ANNEX TO SAID CITY CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "CITY OF ELSINORE ANNEXATION NO. 10 ". BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE: 1. That pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, proceedings have been initiated by the Council of the City of Elsinore, on its own motion, to annex to the City of Elsinore all that uninhabited territory situate in the County of Riverside, State of California, hereby designated as "City of Elsinore Annexation No. 10" and described as follows: A portion of Block H, all of Blocks G and F, and the northeasterly half of Block E as shown on plat showing resubdivision of Block D, Elsinore, on file in Map Book 6, Page 296, Records of San Diego County, California, in the Rancho La Laguna, and portions of Sections 15, 16, 21 and 22, US., R4W., S.B.M., more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the southwesterly line of said Block H with the center line of Sylvester Street as shown on map filed by the Division of Beaches and Parks in Record of Survey Book 38, Page 11, Records of Riverside County, said intersection being a point in the existing boundary of the City of Elsinore; thence southeasterly along said center line and the southeasterly prolongation thereof, being also said existing boundary of the City of Elsinore, to the center line of Mission Trail, shown as County Highway on Map of Sedco, Tract 2, on file in Map Book 10, Pages 76 through 78, Records of Riverside County; thence southeasterly along the various courses of said center line of Mission Trail as shown on Map of Sedco, Tract 2, and as shown on Map of Sedco, Tract 1 on file in Map Book 10, Pages 58 through 75, Records of Riverside County, to the center line of Corydon Street as shown on said Map of Sedco Tract 1; thence S. 360 35' W. along said center line of Corydon Street to the most southerly corner of Lot 17, said Block E; thence N. 530 26' 50" W. along lot lines to the most westerly corner of Lot 1, said Block E, being corner No. 53 as shown on said Record of Survey Map filed by the Division of Beaches and Parks, and an angle point in said existing boundary of the City of Elsinore; thence in a northeasterly and northwesterly direction along the various courses of the survey line as shown on said map, being also said existing boundary of the City of Elsinore, to the point of beginning. 2. That the Council of the City of Elsinore desires to annex said uninhabited territory to the City of Elsinore for the following reasons: The territory is contiguous to the City of Elsinore, and its pro- posed annexation will contribute to and facilitate the orderly growth and development of the City and the proper development and regulation of the territory proposed to be annexed; will facilitate and contribute to the proper and orderly development both within the city and within the territory proposed to be annexed and in a manner most condusive to the welfare of said city and uninhabited territory. 3. That the Local Agency Formation Commission of Riverside County, California, did in session duly assembled on the 19th day of January, 1966, approved the proposed annexation boundaries of said "City of Elsinore Annexation No. 1011, as above described and as submitted to said Commission by the Council of the
