A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
CERTAIN LAND TO BE USED FOR STREET PURPOSES.
WHEREAS: That certain dirt road now being used by the general public as an extension of Franklin Street is trave
privately owned land, with pe�mission to pass over revocable at any time and,
WHEREAS; In the event such permission to pass over should be revoked it would result in considerable
inconveniance to the general public, in that the then only rema ning. route open to travel to and from the
eaterly part of the Cityiwould be via Railroad Avenue and Avenue six.
THEREFOR: It appears to be in the public interest that the City of Elsinore acquire title to land along
the northerly line of section 8, T6S, R4W3 SBBM between the easterly line of Co my Club Heights
Unit No. 5 and the Right of Way for state Highway 71 approximately 60 feet in width, when acquired said
land together with City owned lots 312 and 313 Country Club_Heilghts Unit 5 shall be used to extend
Franklin Street easterly to State Highway 71.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: By the City Council of the City ofElsinore that the Superintendant of Public
Works and /or the City Clerk of said City be and are hereby authorized to negotiate the purchase by the
City of the following described land at a price of not to exceed $400.00 per acre, said description
be— attached hereto and/is made a part of this resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the transfer of title to the aforementioned land be handled through the Escrow
department of the First National Bank of Elsinore with the buyer and the seller sharing equally the expense
of said Escrow.
I, R. W. Goodwin, the duly elected qualified and acting City Clerk of
the City of Elsinore do herby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elsinore
at a regular meeting held on the 25th day of March, 1957.

RESOLUTION NO. 898
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elsinore that pursuant and subject to all of the terms, condittn
and provisions of Division 5, Part 1, Chapter 7, Section 4010 to 4035 of the California allealth and Safety
Code and all amendements thereto, relating to domestic water supplies, application by this City be made to
the State Board of Public Health, for a permit to use existing water worker for the distribution of domestic
water supply to the residents of the City of Elsinore, from two city owned wells located within the said
City of Elsinore, Suppli.mented by treated Colorado. River Water to be purchased -from the Elsinore
Valley Municipal Water District, at the ratio required by the State Dept. of Public Health that the Mayor
of said CityCouncil be and is hereby autnorized and directed to cause the necessary data to be prepared,
and investigations to be made, and in the name of said City of Elsinore to sign and file such application
with the said State Board of Public Health..
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinore on the 25th day
of March, 1957.

RESOLUTION NO. 899
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF ONE
ADDITIONAL STREET LIGHT AT THE INSTERSECTION OF GRAHAM AVE. AND FIRST ALLEY EAST OF MAIN ST.
WHEREAS: Existing Street light located on the southeast corner of first alley east of Main street with Graham
Ave. is inoperative and in need of replacement
THEREFOR: BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Elsinore that the California Electric Power
Cogpany be and they are hereby autnorized to replace said existing light with another of the type and size
in general use.
