ORDINANCE NO. 260
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELSIi ?ORE FIXING
TFIE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY
TAXATION FOR THE FISCAL `PEAR 1945 -46.
The City Council of the City of Elsinore does hereby
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The amount of money necessary to be raised
by taxation upon the taxable property in the City of Elsinore a
revenue to carry on the various departments of said municipal
corporation for the fiscal year 1945 -46 and to pay the bonded
indebtedness of said City is hereby fixed as follows:
For the General Fund, the amount of 441,653.50.
For the Library Fund, the amount of $ 1,096.80.
For the City Park Fund, the amount of $2,330.90.
For the 1912 Sewer Bond Fund, the amount of 752.05•
For the 1924 Sewer Bond Fund, the amount of $1,028.25.
For the 1930 Sewer Bond Fund, the amount of $959.30.
For the City hall Bond Fund, the amount of $000.00.
For the 1938 Improvement Bond Fund, the amount of X,.2,193.60.
SECTION 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an
emergency ordinance and it is necessary for the immediate preser-
vation of the public peace, health and safety, that the same zo
into effect immediately upon its passage and publication;.thrt a
statement of the facts constituting the said emergency is-as follows:,_
That in order to comply with the State law regulating
the loving of taxes by a municipality, it is necessary that this
ordinance be passed and go into effect prior to the last Tuesday
in August of 1945. Otherwise the validity of the levying of '..
taxes would be in doubt.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the
Elsinore Leader Press.
