CALL TO ORDER The Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was called to order by Chairman Matson at 11:01 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL PRESENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: KNIGHT, MATSON, STRIGOTTE, �ERMILLION, VALENZUELA ABSENT: COUNCILMEP16ERS: NONE Also present were: Executive Director Modesti, Interim City Manager Norton, City Attorney Harper, City Engineer Culp, Finance Director Barrick, City Planner Corcoran and Clerk of the Board Money. 3. MINUTES - June 26, 1984 Mr. Matson requested the times of Call To Order and Adjournment be chan4ed from 'p.m.' to 'a.m.'. MOVED BY KNIGHT, SECONDED BY VALENZUELA AND CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF JUNE 26, 1984 AS CORRECTED. � 4. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT - Ms. A1odesti read a letter received from Bruce Daniels, County Department of HCD, regarding the CDBG tenth year final statement. The County is required to make this final statement public and he enclosed a copy of the document which he asked us to retain and make available to the public for review. 5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS - None. 6. ORAL COh1MUNICATIONS - Mr. Matson - Status Reports: Downtown Revitalization Program - Met today with Downtown Business Association and the City submitted their $50,000 share towards this program. Soroc Technology, Inc. - He and Mr. Strigotte met with the owner of the company who plans to submit a proposal to the Redevelopment Agency. Ayres Construction Project - Mr. Ayres will be presenting a proposal to the Redevelopment Agency to develop industrial space for lease at Chaney and Coliier. A meeting is scheduled with Airport representatives on Thursday, July 12, at 6:00 p.m. A report will be prepared for the next Redevelopment Agenda. 7. U�dFINISHED BUSINESS - None. 8. NEW BUSINESS - A. Eminent Domain Proceedings - Castro Property - Riley Street near Pottery Street. f4s. Modesti reported that the City nas contacted f�r. Castro on numerous occasions in an attempt to purchase his property, in conjunction with outflow channel property acquisition project. The property has been appraised by the consulting firm o` J. �:;illiam i�urphy and Associates for $3,300.
