It was thereupon agreed that the school could install a
.connection on their own line which is metered aril in which case no
.action on the. part of Council was necessary.
The chair then reported that a }~u~ber of persons had called r_: i::
to his attention the advisability of Council's passage of an Ordinance to
provide for the elimination of electric interference to radio reception.
After some discussion on the matter it was agreed that it be laid
.over for further conaideration and that copies of ordinances passed by
other cities be"secured for investigation.
Council then took up for consideration the matter of proposed.
sewer installation and upon consideration of the matter it was sug-
gested by the chair and agreed to by Council that a Committee be ap-
poirrted to make a further investigation of the matter and to ascertain
if present system cannot be made. to take care of sewage satisfactorily.
The chair appointed Councilmen R4ills, Laxgstaff and Gallagher
and City Engineer Graham to serva on said Committee with instructions
that they make report vaith recommendations at the next .meeting oY
Council and that theyrbe authorized to sperxl what money Pras necessary to
.make a satisfactory investigation.
Thereupon there :being no further business to come before the
Council, on motion duly made and carried, Council adjourned to meet
in regular session on Monday May 5th, at the hour of 7 o'clock p.m, in
the City Hall, the usual meeting plane.
