No. 1984-691ORDINANCE NO. 691 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A CERTAIN ZONING STANDARD FOR USE ONLY WITHIN THE AREA DESIGNATED AS THE NELSON ANNEXATION AREA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: As authorized by Section 65859 of the Government Code of the State of California, a city may prezone unincorporated territory adjoining such city for the purposes of determining the zoning which would apply to property in the event of a subsequent annexation to said city. Therefore, the City of Lake Elsinore hereby utilizes only the Single-Family Residential District Ordinance, and establishes said Ordinance as the zoning for said Nelson Annexation Area as described below and on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION TWO: The City of Lake Elsinore, California, shall utilize the following zoning district only within the Nelson Annexation Area: Chapter 17.16 - (R-1) Single-Family Residential District SECTION THREE: The Nelson Annexation Area, which contains approximately thirty-eight (38) acres more or less, shall be generally described as follows: That portion of Lot 26 Block "B" of the Elsinore as per Map recorded in Book 8 Page 377 of Maps in the Office of the.Recorder of San Diego County, described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the centerline of Lincoln Street with the centerline of Machado Street as shown on said Map; THENCE S 360 54' 30" W along said centerline of Machado Street 790.00 feet; THENCE N 530 OS' 30" W 178.00 feet; THENCE S 36° 54' 30" W parallel with the centerline of Machado Street I 480.00 feet; THENCE S 530 OS' 30" E, 178.00 feet to the centerline of Machado Street; THENCE S 36° 54' 30" W along the centerline of Machado Street 81.86 feet to the southeasterly prolongation of the southwesterly line of said Lot 26; THENCE N 530 03' 40" W along said southwesterly line 1198.93 feet to the most westerly corner of said Lot 26; THENCE N 28° 30' 00" E along the northwesterly side of Lot 26 730.57 feet; THENCE S 53° 02' 34" E, 132.30 feet; THENCE N 34° 54' 30" E 600.00 feet to a point on the northeasterly line of said Lot 26 that is 200.00 feet southeasterly from the most northerly corner of said Lot 26; THENCE continuing N 36° 54' 30" E 30,00 feet to the centerline of Lincoln Street; THENCE S 53° 02' 34" E 1195.45 feet along the centerline from Lincoln Street to the Point of Beginning. SECTION FOUR: This ordinance- shall take effect as provided by law.
