AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE,
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A CERTAIN ZONING STANDARD
FOR USE ONLY WITHIN THE AREA DESIGNATED AS THE
ROME HILL ANNEXATION AREA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA,
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE:
As authorized by Section 65859 of the Government Code of
the State of California, a city may prezone unincorporated territory
adjoining such city for the purposes of determining the zoning which
would apply to property in the event of a subsequent annexation to
said city. Therefore, the City of Lake Elsinore hereby utilizes
only the Specific Plan District Ordinance, and establishes said
Ordinance as the zoning for said Rome Hill Annexation Area as
described below and on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
SECTION TWO:
The City of Lake Elsinore, California, shall utilize the
following zoning district only within the Rome Hill Annexation Area:
Chapter 17.99 - (S PD) Specific Plan District
SECTION THREE:
The Rome Hill Annexation Area, which contains approximately
12 acres more or less, shall be generally described as follows:
That portion of Lots 8 and 10 in Block "E" of Elsinore,
as shown by A1ap on file in Book 6 Page 296 of Maps,
San Diego County Records, described as follows:
COMMENCING at the intersection of the existing City
of Elsinore city limit line and the centerline of
Stoneman Street;
THENCE northwesterly along said city limit line, also
being the northeasterly line of said Lots 8 and 10,
N 530 28' W 522.85 feet to the Point of Beginning;
THENCE continuing along said city limit line and north-
easterly line of said Lots 8 and 10, N 53° 28' E, 991.65
feet;
THENCE S 360 32' W, 300.00 feet parallel with the
westerly line of said Lot 10;
THENCE S 53° 28' E, 390.00 feet parallel with said
existing city limit line and northeasterly line of said
Lots 8 and 10;
THENCE S 360 32' 49, 332.00 feet parallel with said
westerly line of Lot 10;
THENCE S 53° 28' E, 286.00 feet parallel with said exist-
ing city limit line and northeasterly line of said Lots
8 and 10;
THENCE S 360 32' W, 127.00 feet parallel with the
westerly line of said Lot 10;
THENCE S 530 28' E, 315.65 feet parallel with said exist-
ing city limit line and northeasterly line of said Lots
8 and 10;
THENCE N 360 32' E, 759.00 feet parallel with the
westerly line of said Lot 10 to the Point of Beginning.
Total acreage: 12.34 acres
SECTION FOUR:
This ordinance shall take effect as provided by law.

day of November 1983, upon the following roll call vote:
