ORDINANCE NO. 625 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 it 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, ADDING SECTION 17.68.015 TO THE LAKE ELSINORE MUNICIPAL CODE SETTING STANDARDS FOR BLOCK WALLS SEPARATING RESIDENTIAL TRACTS FROM SECOND- ARY, MAJOR AND ARTERIAL STREETS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINROE, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE. There is hereby added to the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code Section 17.68.015 which is to read as follows: "Notwithstanding any other provision of law specifying size and type of walls allowed within the City of Lake Elsinore, residential development projects abutting certain secondary, major and arterial streets specified by City Council policy, shall provide for the following: A. A slump stone block wall 8 feet high adjacent to such streets; B. The color of which shall include Mission or La Paz, or both as allowed by the Planning Department; C. Planter areas along walls shall be spaced as specified within tract map conditions of approval or any other applicable conditions of approval, and; D. Exhibit "A," adopted as a part of this ordinance, shall specify the design of said block wall." SECTION TWO. This ordinance shall take effect as provided by law.
