ELSIAIORL' AMENDI~?G GRDIn1ANCE ,~ 269
The City ~ouncil o£ the City of Elsinore does hereby ordain that section
one (1) of ordinance # 269 bc amended to rcad as follows~
Section 1.
That the ratP per month to be charged to an3 paid by the consumers
using xater measured through a water meter of the City o£ Flsinore water
department shall be Two Dollars and Sixty cents (2.60) for the first onc
thousand (1000) eubfue feet or £r2etion thereo£ and Eighteen (O.1S)
cents for each.additional one hundred (100} cubic feet or fraction thereof
over threc thousand (3000) cubic £qet~ and provided that no billing-shall
bc less than Two ~ollars Sixty Cents per month~ the established -
minimum monthly rate.
This c~rdinance is an emergency m~aGure and takes ef£ect imunecliately a.s a
meas~re for the preservation of-Public Peace, H~alth.g Safety, support by
the following £act o£ record, the c~st of supplimental water together with
the increased cost of. NIaterials, Supplies and labor for normal operabion
and maintenance has increased the total,cost of operation to the extent that
they exceed the revenue der,i;bed' from water sales.
