Washburn, Mayor Members City Council Elsinore, California Gentlemen: Inasmuch as the Elsinore Water District is vitally interested in the property within t~e District as set forth in Resolution No 620 for annexation of inhabited and un- inhabited territory and as previously discussed with Councilman Samuel Farber at our recent Board of Directors meeting, the following resolution was unanimously passed and adopted: RESOLVED: That PresidentW.F. Holmes be and he is hereby authorized to attend the hearing re annexation of certain District owned and other lots within the Elsinore Water District, by tbeCity of Elsinore, to be held Monday, July 24, 1950 at 8:00 P.M. at the City Hall and file written protest of said annexation, said protest to be withdrawn when the District is satisfied that the lots so annexed will (a) not netaX6Q by the City of Elsinore so long as owned by the District; (b) will be entitled to the same municipal benefits with respect to fire, police, water, school, street and like privileges on the same basis as any of the lands within the City limits; (c) that said annexation will not have any ad- verse effect on the Contract re payment of delinquent taxes and sharing the proceeds, heretofore executed between the state 6bntroller and the District.
