WEEREAS: The attention of this Council having been directed
4 to the fact that City Zoning Ordinance #236 enact~d in August
1939 and since that time haveing been amended from time to time
5 by the enacting of some sixteen seperate ordinances. And
6 WHEREAS: the result of this operaflon leaves the City with
an inadequate zoning ordi~ance and the need being felt for a
7 new zoning ordinance and map. 6i~ ...t.Vt; ~~
8 THEREFORE: Be it resolvedj\ths;1tthe Elsinore Planning Commission
be guthorized to proceed wi tli the prepara tio,p,.,9f said ordinance
9 and maP to be; presen.ted to the City Council fi~l' approval, and:
10 Be it further resolved that Mr Charles H. Diggs a professional
Planning Consulta.nt of wide experience and reputation be employed
11 0 work with the Commissiob in the preparation of the needed
Ordinanc. and map the salary for this service is hereby set at
12 $125.00 per month plus ani expense allowance not to exceed $20000
per monthp This to beeome effective FebrUary 1st, 1953 to be
13 completed ncmt later than July 1st, 1953, unless further time be
authorized by action of the City Council of the City of Elsinore.
