RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE AUTHORIZING THE
CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA FOR STATE PARK PURPOSES.
WHEREAS the State of California through its
authorized agencies has indicated its intention to creat a
Lake Elsinore State Park and to include the follovving des-
cribed real property therein, and
WHEREAS it is the desire of the City of Elsinore to
promote the establishment of such a State Park, and to convey
certain real property owned by the City to the State of
California for such purpose, and
WHEREAS the City of Elsinore is authorized by Section
5151 of the Public Resources Code of the State of California
to donate, convey and grant to the State of California any real
property owned by the City for a park or recreational center, or
a beach used for recreational purposes.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Elsinore, a municipal
corporation, that the City of Elsinore forthwith donate, convey
and grant to the State of California the hereinafter described
real property for purposes of making the same into a State Park,
and the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Elsinore be,
and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute and
deliver to the State of California, or its duly authorized
representative, a deed conveying said real property owned by
the City of Elsinore to the State of California.
The real
property included in this Resolution is situated in the County
of Riverside, State of California, and is more particularly
described as follows:

Drive Addition to Elsinore, as shown by map on file

County Records.
PARCEL 2:
Lots 4 to 17, inclusive, in Block 4 of Lake Shore
Drive Addition to Elsinore, as shown by map on file
in Book 9 pages 65, 66 and 67 of Maps, Riverside
County Records.
PARCEL 3:
Lot 2, except the Northwesterly 25 feet thereof,
and Lots 3 to 18, inclusive, in Block 5 of Lake
Shore Drive Addition to Elsinore, as shown by map
on file in Book 9 pages 65, 66 and 67 of Maps,
Riverside County Records.
PARCEL 4:
That portion of the Rancho La Laguna bounded by
Acacia Drive, Proposed Lake Shore Drive, Block 4
and Block 8 of Lake Shore Drive Addition to
Elsinore, as shown by map on file in Book 9, pages
65, 66 and 6'7 of Maps, Riverside County Records;
EXCEPTING therefrom that portion bounded on the
West by the Northeasterly production of the
Southeasterly line of Lot 18 in Block 5 of Lake
Shore Drive Addition, on the East by the North-
easterly prolongation of the Southerly line of Poe
Street, on the North by the Southwesterly line of
Proposed Lake Shore Drive and on the South by the
Northeasterly line of Acacia Drive;

ALSO EXCEPTING that portion contained within the
Town of Elsinore, as shown on map of said Town on
file in Book 6 page 302 of Maps, San Diego County
Records;
ALSO EXCEPTING that portion bounded by the North-
easterly line of Acacia Drive, the Southwesterly
line of Proposed Lake Shore Drive, the North-
easterly extension of the Northwesterly line of
Lot 2 in Block 5 of Lake Shore Drive Addition,
and a line drawn parallel to the last described
line and distant 25 feet Southeasterly therefrom.
ADOPTED AND SIGNED this lOth day of September, 1956.
