ELSINORE REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF

USE TAX ORDINANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS
OF PART 1~5 OF DIVISION 2' 0J.i' 'tHE RE\7ENUE AND TAXATION
OODE,KNOWN AS THE BRADLEY-BURNS UNIFORM SAzES AND
USE TAX LAW.
Whereas ,on the 15th day of March 1956,unoffici&l representa.tives including
I.many city councilmen a.nd city attornefS,and the city managers of several cities
I of Riverside CountY' convened in the city of Banning and unanimously a.pproTed the
II adoption oft-he pro'Visionsot the BradleY'-Blmls uniform sales and uSev tax law ~
I by the boa.rd of supervisors of the county of Riverside, and.

I Whereas, it was un~lIi1'l1OuslT recommended at said. conference that the official
I' representat.ives from the ee. veral. cities of RiTerside county appear before the
board otsupervisorsof said county on April 9th 1956 at 9:30 oc1ock AM to urge
I the adoption of the provisions of said uniform local sales and use tax law by
I said board of $upervisors, and.

!Whereas" the city council of this oitydoes"endorse and approve the provisions
!thereof tor the imposition of a 1$ sales tax and a 1% use tax for the exclusive
I ben.tit of the several ciitiea in which the same is collected" with the said sues
II and. use taxes collect" in the unincorporated county areas to be useci exclusively
