RESOLUTION NO. 911
A HESOLUTION OF THE: CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY
OF ELSINORE, ESTAbLISHING A "CAPITA.t. IMPHOVEMENT
FUND~ WITHIN THE ACOOUNTING SYSTEM OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS: An ordinance has been adopted by the City Council of the
City of Elsinore, assessing a retail sales and use tax upon the sale or use of
tangible porperty wi thinl the C1 ty of Elsinore under the provisions of the
"Brad1ey-Burn f s aet of 1955 and:
WHF:REAS: It js the desire of the City Council 01' the City of Elsinonf
that the greater portio~ of funds derived from this source shall be expended
for capitol improvements to said City, which shall include but not be limited to
such improvements as streett!!, street lighting, sewers, water works, parks;
buildings..
THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Clerk and the City Treasurer
be and they are hereby directed to establish wi thin the accounting sys:t-em of'
the City of Elstnore a special fund to be known as the "Qapi t.al Improvmment
lundtl, and shall deposit to the credit of such :fd.nd c,s' % of all moneys accruing,
to the account of the City of Elsinore from Sales and"1'iS'e TI~eEl and the remaining'
3~---% Of.~ this income shall be deposited to the cl"edit of the general fund of'
sardCi ty'lr'
BE IT F'UHTH8R RESOLVED: That moneys so q,~posi ted to the credit of f
said Caoi'tal Improvement Fund shall onl;; be disburl.~t, for such Pu.:r'pose$ as are
now or majl" hereafter be designated as. Capi t(a). Improvements to the C1 ty of Elsinor
by proper action of the City Council.
