WHEREAS, a. master agreement has been executed by the City and the State of California on February 27, 1961, for expendi tun of i'I.ulds allocated from the Stat.e highway fund to cities; and, WHEREAS, the city council has prepared a. project statement shmn.ng estimated expendi turea of such fun.ds recommended to be made during the 1960-61 & 1961-62 fiscal years; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said project statement and is familiar with the contents thereof; THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City of Elsinore that said project statement be and it is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the gas tax allocation to cities, said project statement be and the same is hereby approved and the mayor and the city clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, and said project state- ment to be submitted to the Department of Public Works, State of CalifOrnia, in accordance with the provisions of Section 197 of the Streets and Highw~s Code.
