A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE..
~mEREAS, the opening of the 47th National Orange Show 1~11 be celebrated on
March 15, 1962; and
~n1EREAS, the City of Elsinore wishes to commend this fine organization for
its years of outstanding and interesting presentations; and
WHEREAS, the National Orange Show will this recall and commemorate the lOOth
anniversary of the planting of the orange tree in this area of Southern California; end
~JHEF.EAS, the Citrus Industry is a. major factor in the economy of this Sta.te; and
WHEREAS, the National Orange Show is a showcase of this industry and Hs
personnel;
NOW, THEEEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELSINORE that on behalf of the City of Elsinore it does hereby commend the fine work
of the National Orange Show and does honor the Citrus Growers, Packers and all of
our citizens affiliated in 01 trus production, and ,joins with them in looki.ng forr"m.rd
to its continued prosperity and development.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Hayor
and City Council of the City of Elsinore at a regular meeting thereof held on the
12th day of March, 1962.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF that on behalf of the City
of it does hereby commend the fine work of the
National Orange Show and does honor the Citrus Growers, Packers and
all of our citizens affiliated in citrus production, and joins with
them in looking forward to its continued prosperity and development.
