RESOLUTION NO. 1J20
RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE TO INITIATE
ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CER-
TAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE:
1. That the Council of the City of Elsinore, for the reasons
hereinafter mentioned, proposes to initiate on its own motion, as
soon as it can legally do so, proceedings to annex to the City of
Elsinore all of the territory hereinafter described, as uninhabited
territory, under provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Ter-
ritory Act of 1939 as set forth in Sections 35300 to 35325, in-
clusive, of the Government Code of the State of California.
2. That the Council's reasons for proposing to initiate said

annexation proceedings are as follows: The annexation of the here-
inafter described territory will contribute to the orderly growth
of the city and provide for recreational facilities within the
area sought to be annexed.
3. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex is
hereby identified as "Annexation No. 10," and consists of all that
real property situate in the County of Riverside, State of Cali-
fornia, described as follows:
Sections 34 and 35, Township 5 South, Range 4
West, S.B.B. & M.
4. That the City Administrator of the City of Elsinore is
hereby directed to file with the Boundary Commission of the County
of Riverside, State of California, this proposal to initiate pro-
ceedings to annex the hereinabove described uninhabited territory
to the City of Elsinore, and to request a report by the Commission
as provided for in Section 35002 of the Government Code.

Re: Proposed annexation of territory to
the City of Elsinore, California
Gentlemen:
The undersigned proposes to have annexed to the City of
Elsinore, California, under the provisions of the Annex-
ation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, all that un-
inhabited territory situate in the County of Riverside,
State of California, more particularly described as fol-
lows:
Sections 34 and 35, Township 5 South, Range
4 West, S.B.B. & M.
In accordance with Section 35002 of the Government Code
of the State of California, I do hereby submit to you a
proposal to annex said territory to the City of Elsinore,
and request a report on the definiteness and certainty of
the boundary described herein.
